The OTM-30 is a purpose-built thermal scope mount featuring a 1” reverse cantilever, aerospace-grade aluminum construction, and quick-detach levers, delivering optimal eye relief, zero retention, and versatility across both bolt-action and AR-style platforms.
The OTM-30 (Optimized Thermal Scope Mount 30mm) is a sophisticated mounting solution developed in collaboration with the engineering team at American Defense Manufacturing. It is the first scope mount specifically engineered to enhance the performance of thermal tube scopes. One standout feature of the OTM-30 is its one-inch reverse cantilever, which effectively resolves the short eye relief challenges that often accompany thermal optic display screens. Designed purposefully, this mount eliminates the shortcomings associated with using traditional scope mounts made for day optics. To optimize the reverse cantilever design we moved the attachment system to the left side to minimize ejection port interference.
The OTM-30 accommodates both bolt-action rifles with adjustable cheek risers and AR-style platforms, making it versatile for various shooting applications. Its innovative 1” reverse cantilever ensures optimal rail placement for both types of firearms, allowing for easy installation without needing to adjust the scope within the rings extensively. With a 1.7” optical centerline, the mount aligns your scope perfectly with your eye, while also providing the necessary height to mitigate optical interference caused by suppressor heat.
