VooDoo-Mx is the next generation of tactical thermal imaging systems. We've kept what you require, improved what you've asked for, and added what you've always desired. Feature rich, easy to use - all under 33 oz / 950 grams.
VooDoo-Mx is a multi-platform uncooled thermal device delivering increased lethality in a compact, lightweight system. VooDoo-Mx can be mounted on a belt-fed GPMG M-240, M-249, .338NM, 50 cal. or Mk-19 variants. The system supports both stand-alone or clip-on modes of operation with zero impact shift in standard projectiles. VooDoo-Mx can also transition from belt-fed systems to long-range sniper support operations as required.
VooDoo-Mx provides the sharpest thermal images on the market, utilizing a shutterless BAE Systems 12-micron focal plane array, 640 x 480 detector that is powered by Pixels on Target's core, for enhanced imaging a color display option.
VooDoo-Mx incorporates an integrated Laser Range Finder (LRF) with dedicated LRF Fire button, Digital Magnetic Compass, Wireless Capabilities, Video Out, Objective focus and Eyepiece focus, and Digital Unity Magnification (D.U.M. Patent Pending). VooDoo-Mx provides Disturbed Firing Solutions utilizing Applied Ballistics Solver and is able to store numerous weapons profiles as needed.
VooDoo-Mx is mission ready and utilizes (2) CR123 batteries for approximately ~4 hrs. of continuous run-time. Optional external battery capabilities are available for extended run-time requirements. With a 68mm Objective lens, VooDoo-Mx gives the operator the ability to detect targets at 3,000 meters and ensures image clarity to range targets with its integrated LRF, custom reticles and ballistic solver for target engagement correction. The system is ruggedized for all missions and tested to MIL-STD-810-G.
VooDoo-M communicates with Pixels on Target's M-Code device for enhanced location and targeting support, and integrates into ATAK as well as other Command & Control platforms. VooDoo-Mx connects to various remote HUD or Eyepiece Displays that are helmet-mounted. End-user requirements define all VooDoo-Mx communication configurations, including both wireless and wired remote options.
